When can I schedule a school tour?
Parents can request information and schedule a school tour beginning in the summer, and tours take place from October-December. Should a parent wish to inquire about our school, they are welcome to reach out at any point in the year by emailing Jordana Fruchter, School Director, at [email protected].
How long are your school tours?
School tours begin at 9:30am and run for approximately one hour.
Are both parents required to attend school tours?
Ideally both parents should attend the school tour. Tours are for parents only and children have a separate opportunity to participate in the admissions process during the play visit.
Should I apply early?
You should apply early if you plan to accept a spot at MLS during our first round of notifications. Spots are limited and we notify early applicants first.
What is the admissions process?
Step 1: Schedule a tour by CLICKING HERE. For any further questions, please email Jordana Fruchter, School Director, at [email protected].
Step 2: Attend a school tour. Following the tour you will receive our Application as well as our Schedule & Fees (hours & tuition).
Step 3: Complete and Submit your Application, together with your preference marked on your Schedule & Fees
Step 4: MLS will schedule a play visit for your child once your application is processed. Children who are enrolled in our caregiver classes are not required to do an additional play visit
Step 5: MLS will email admissions decisions according to our early/regular notification dates
What should I expect at the play visit?
Play visits take place on select Tuesdays & Thursdays between October-December. Children are invited into one of our caregiver classes where they play, and we chat!
Are there opportunities to learn more about the community during the admissions process?
Yes! We have many community events that take place in the fall/early winter, including our annual block party, Rock The Block (September), holiday events (September & October), Pajama Havdalah Party (November), Holiday Market & Community Chanukah Party (December), and more weekly and monthly programming.
How can I learn more about the parent experience at MLS?
We happily place prospective parents in touch with current and/or MLS alumni families, to have the opportunity to learn more about the parent experience at MLS. Our Parents Association President and members are also ready and willing to speak with prospective parents.

Our tuition rates are provided during the school tour.
