Lead and Assistant Staff Positions
My Little School, a Jewish Preschool located in Tribeca, is seeking to hire Lead and Assistant Teachers/Counselors for the 2024 Summer Season. We are a school that draws from best practices in progressive early childhood education. We aim to provide a safe, fun, and engaging summer experience for children and families.
The ideal candidate should have experience working with children ages 2-5 years old in a progressive early childhood environment. Candidates should be warm, nurturing, creative, engaging, and possess excellent communication skills. Applicants must be able to work collaboratively, be flexible, have a strong work ethic, possess a positive attitude, and a passion for working with young children. High school and college aged candidates are welcome!
Duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Preparing the classroom in the morning and cleaning up at the end of the day
- Supporting children during trips to the bathroom & diapering
- Supporting the summer staff team.
- Support children with hand-washing
- Help supervise during outdoor play, water play, indoor gross-motor play, and off-site trips
- Support in creating a safe, warm, and fun learning environment in the classroom
- Participate in class activities, songs, meetings, etc.

Summer Camp Dates: Tuesday, June 4th - Friday, July 19th. Camp is closed June 12 - 13, and July 4 - 5.
